Four people were killed in a crash involving a suspected DUI driver early Sunday morning in Santa Ana, authorities say.
The crash involving a jeep and a truck occurred at around 3 a.m. at the intersection of 4th Street and Tustin Ave. It appears the jeep T-boned the truck as it headed through the intersection. Four people inside the truck were killed. The driver of the jeep was arrested and is being treated for his injuries, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.
Off-duty firefighter who was not involved in the incident stopped to extinguish a fire that resulted from the crash while his wife, a nurse, provided medical treatment to the driver, according to the Orange County Fire Department.
